What a great night.

A bashful young winner, I've never seen someone get his hair lovingly ruffled so much in one night.

There were a lot of young guys up there tonight, Webster, Curren and Jack...and Gears progressing up the B&F ladder finishing 4th.

Three retirements speeches were great, and so emotional. Kosi endearing, Blakey humble, Milney just didn't want the party to end.

Nice touch to get Jack up to pass on officially the leading of the song.

Other updates. Roo can barely walk, Dal also limping, someone had an arm in a sling...couldn't quite make it out. When Milney was asked to stand, he jumped on a chair, was the livewire until the end. Jimmy broke the record for shortest speech with the most ums. Was an awkward start to the night, Nettles and Westaway spending quite a long time discussing the elephant in the room. We sat next to the parents table, so it was lovely to see all the top 5 come over and hug their mums and dads.

Met some new faces tonight, nice to meet you all.
