I have to say, I am impressed. I am sorry it has had to come to this, but it is consistent with what Nettlefold said on the radio and I reckon it is appropriate and strikes the right balance (at least for those of us who lie somewhere in the middle of the spectrum between "footballers will be footballers" and markintheusa "criminal acts").

Bloody hell BM! Here we go again

On the night the story broke you straight away ripped into the team. A lot of us said we'd prefer to await details of what had happened before passing judgement. You seemed happy to just accept the word of the Dwarf's Dwarf friend on Footy Classified.

Once the story was confirmed (ie that Clint Jones was lighting people up) I don't know of too many people who have not said Jones stuffed up, and by association, the team/club stuffed up. We may have discussions about just how bad all this was in the overall scheme of things. We may have discussions about whether it was a hate crime. We may have discussions about possible punishments. We may have discussions about the way the media has reported all this.

But I don't think too many of are disputing that what happened is wrong. And therefore I don't think too many of us are disputing an apology is required. To the victim and also to the members for putting us through all of this.

This point has been explained to you many times over the last few days.

I don't think you're thick so the only explanation can be that you are being deliberately provocative.

For the love of God, please stop!
