I hope he's trying to point out the absurdity of the AFL's rules on this. There's no way Melbourne should have been fined for tanking. They can choose to tank, people can choose not to bet on Melbourne. There's no hidden information there.

It was pretty clear that Freo players were instructed to manage themselves, stay away from tough contests, and generally play bruise-free footy. Winning was the last thing they were concerned about, and since not playing to win is the same thing as deliberately losing, by the rulebook Freo was tanking.

I had a fantastic day at the football yesterday and i couldnt are less if freo dropped 20 players, just say 20 players had gastro from eating a seafood dinner? the field only 5 players?

i dont bet, i assume you are referring to betting issues or something about that, i couldnt give 2 hoots if the saints were 10,000000 to 1 last Monday and then 3-1 last Thursday after the teams were announced, means nothing to me.
