Goddard still a Saint at heart?

Post: # 1382681Post 4ever_saint »

Just saw this photo posted on Twitter. Interesting to see him supporting our boys today on an Essendon match day!

His heart is still at the saints. He did go to look after his hip pocket but will return to Saints after his playing days are over.

Its amazing how much 'love' he has shown the saints this year.

On a side note, I have never known a player surrounded by so much controversy, from the the Carlton draft, to the Essendon scandal, there has rarely been a dull moment...

I loved him as a player but have distance myself for my own sanity. Once they leave you have to have a bit of dislike for them. A little part of me wishes he's walk and come home because of the controversy at the Dons. Now that would be Natural Justice- no denying it.

Yes he is still a saint at heart, i dont think someone that has played 200 games with a team would ever forget that team, interesting that he was at the game knowing he had a game tonight though.... i still reckon he was pushed out, Always liked beej

Who's that traitor standing next to a loyal Saints player

The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

I think Kosi hit the nail on the head when he said that BJ realised where his mates were.

Might be going cheap in the preseason draft after Essendope are booted in December...

Oh course he's still a Saint. If he left for money or premierships then so be it. I reckon he'll regret leaving by the time he retires, if not already.
Must've hurt not being out there today with his mates. I'm still a fan.

Reckon he will come back to us before hangs up the boots. Once Roo, Lenny, Dal and Joey have gone, he would be fantastic as support. By that stage too he will probably have lost that sulkiness he got at times.

The club did the wrong thing by Goddard. By all accounts, it was the 4th year that was the point of contention and not the dollar value of the contract.

The club made a mistake.

Agree battye

By all reports was happy to negotiate $ but wanted the years.

Should be a saint still.

and you don't think at the end of the 3rd year the saints would not have re-signed him. get reall. he went for the money. so what we all need to move on from him.

For one year to help out the players going in to their first finals campaign, with all that inexperience. He will be much better for what he is going through now.
