Ledger must be kept!
Ledger has played very well in this game thus far, and also in the previous round against Gold Coast. We can't let him leave!

Agree. He has to get a bigger tank though, apparently.

Dear Scott, you were wrong not to play Tom Ledger earlier than round 22!
Thanks

You'd think he has earned a chance next year.

Not his fault it's the only chance he's had.defacto wrote:this game was junk time. much like last week. not sure you can use it to prove anything
Him & Curren not playing till so late in the year is ridiculous...
Nearly all of Saad, Milera, TDL and even Milnes games this year have been a waste of time.

Its a shame but this is true. In a game where records were set for possessions the numbers don't mean much.defacto wrote:this game was junk time. much like last week. not sure you can use it to prove anything

Re: Ledger must be kept!
that's the thing
5 games would give us a good indication of where he is at
1 game Vs GC and 1 Vs Freo's reserves doesn't tell us much[*]

Depends which argument you want to make...
If we are pumping up a player... Game was relevant
If we are defending the coach it was a waste of time?
Great game by Ledger.... He is a ball magnet at what ever level.... And From what I saw, he was good with the footy...

I am sure some posters have suggested his disposal skills were poor, but I agree today and last week he looked quite good to meBigMart wrote:Depends which argument you want to make...

Difference between AFL standard grounds and conditions (indoor) than a cold wet windy day in an in tight scrappy game at TBBO... with seconds stand players and game plan

I am still scratching my head how he only played 2 games this year, it's not like you could not break into the team...

Re: Ledger must be kept!
Were we tanking? Blake showed that he could have done better than Stanley as a KPB and possibly won us some more games and some of the guys already at the club couldn't get regular games.SaintWodonga wrote:I am still scratching my head how he only played 2 games this year, it's not like you could not break into the team...

just saying that you cant really take anything out of this game. if anything if you ratio their numbers against monties and stevens it probably doesnt paint a good picture.

Re: Ledger must be kept!
I don't think Watters is sold on Ledger either, based on what I've heard him say in interviews on that subject.
We are obliged to delist 3 at years end, if Ross doesn't want to trade for Ledger then he'll be cut, we can't keep them all.

The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?
