Back to Moorabin in 2016!

It was reported in the social club after the game that we will have a stand alone VFL team playing out of Moorabbin from 2016.

Great news I say, our own team with the name St. Kilda wearing our jumper! Win, Win, Win...


When Harvey played his first game in 1988, I was a 12yo wearing short pants and struggling with my readin', writin' and 'rithmetic in grade eight. Now, I'm a father of three and a retired AFL player. And he's still going. Amazing! - Michael Voss

Wow ! Fantastic news.
It'll help us survive long term I think.
Bigger brand attracts more corporate partners.
More clubs are going down this path now. We don't need to be left behind.

Great news but we should have had this in motion 2 years ago and playing a standalone team next season.

Our massive development phase won't benefit from this change but the consolation phase will

It is definately true...Shane Wakelin announced it in the social club after the game. Along with the fact we will only play 1 game in Wellington next year, not 2.

I have a green painted seat nut from the old grandstand.
If we all return our pieces of the old stand, they can put it back together in no time.
