Any current AFL players have kicked over 10 goals in a game?
Obviously Milne has, I think 11 vs Brisbane in 2005?
He must be in elite company at the moment; who else that is currently playing has hit double digits?

Josh Kennedy kicked 10.3 against the Bulldogs at Subi

Given the OP's question was 'over 10 goals' then I assume the only ones who would count are
Buddy
LeCras
Milne
as the others all kicked 10 (not over).

Depends how you read it.whiskers3614 wrote:Yeah but 10 goals 1 behind is also over 10 goals!
Personally I read it as kicking more then 10 goals (immaterial of behinds)
Otherwise a guy who kicks 9 goals 6 behinds is also included?

Re: Any current AFL players have kicked over 10 goals in a g
Kind of puts Lockett'a achievements into perspective. Kicked 10 goals or more 22 times. Yes the game has changed somewhat, but I reckon if he were around today he'd still clean up in similar fashion.
Some of the changes in the game would help him. Playing under the roof at Etihad for example, and the soft in the back interpretations.
However, he would have trouble with the MRP quite often.
It's more of an endurance game now, true, but for a once in a lifetime player like Lockett, you'd allow him to play like he always did.
So apologies for taking the thread off on a tangent, but it's an interesting hypothetical.
