Re: Dustin Martin
I'm almost convinced we should take him. I am so desperate for a talent injection I'd take him and Garlett- at least the coke should get Garlett off the ciggies.
Re: Dustin Martin
I'd take him. But we don't have much to deal with if we aren't trading our pick 3.

Think my post was reasonably clear I.E Bad luck when previously listed players do stupid things.joffaboy wrote:I find it interesting that some supporters would protect a Saints player charged with an extremely serious criminal offence but would "absolutely" not have a player from a different club, because he is a bogan and they have heard "stories".
One earlier said they would give up football alltogether if we went for Martin. Wonder why he didn't give up football wrh our current player was charged.
AFAIK Martin hasn't done anything wrong that warrants that type of police action.
Strange mentality.
Bad judgement when you recruit people with serious recurring question marks over their character.
Irrespective of truth or otherwise of drug allegations about Martin, the neck tattoos tell me all I need to know about the character of the person/family concerned. BTW I am not totally free of tattoos myself but any person as young as Martin who chooses to deface his body in places that cannot easily be hidden is a bogan idiot. IMHO of course
In terms of Milne, I would prefer that he wasn't playing but understand the legal implications of the club standing him down, different story if he had been charged back when it first occurred.

Re: Dustin Martin
Dustin's scope to become an A grader is very high and he's young. We don't have too far to fall and require elite talent. I would do it now for sure. Offer him overs. I would head hunt Sydney players too- although they must have 90% of their list on marketing contracts outside the cap. Collingwood and Sydney seem to not actually ever run out of space. Zaharakis might be worth seeing if he want a new job if he can get his contract voided.

Has re-signed with the underachievers.
A real Sainter will pledge allegiance to the ❤ and despise the Pies, the Blues, and the Injectors.

Re: Dustin Martin
All good to bump the thread, but we now have two 'live' Dustin Martin threads on the board. So this one is locked and discussion can continue in the other one, rather than people posting in two threads about the same topic.
