Re: Nicky Dal
That's the spirit Con G - knew someone would start a thread on who they reckon played poorly. Why didn't you start a thread about the many who played well?
Tip out next week? What say you Oh Great Oracle?
Anyway disagree, Dal Santo had 19 poss & more than held his own.

Re: Nicky Dal
don't agree at all... there where a few 1%ers you guys obviously didn't see... like when in the last quarter he was tackled still manged to get the ball to foot that lead to a goal I was in awe that he manged to do that basicly in mid air while being tackled. Don't get some of you so called sainters dal was it a lot today and was getting worn like a glove by some of the best and hardest mids in the AFL atm.. the guy is a veteran now not a 4 year player.

Re: Nicky Dal
Considering what he was working against I thought he did pretty well. Should've done some more simple things in the handball disposal department but all things considered he made a fist of it.
I've never seen a bad St.Kilda player - that's just how they are.

Re: Nicky Dal
It's simple put him on the trade table, and only accept a first round pick, preferably around pick 10. If we can something like this we would be silky to knock it back.
He's a highly skilled player but I'm not sure he has the conviction to help facilitate a rebuild.

Given that we couldn't get pick 21 for 25year old Luke Ball, what makes you think we will get top 10 for 29? year old Dal?footynut wrote:It's simple put him on the trade table, and only accept a first round pick, preferably around pick 10. Re: Nicky Dal
It amuses me that the people who want to trade him because his form is poor will only accept a 1st round pick in return..
If he is really struggling that badly, (which I don't think he is) then how on earth are we going to get anything decent for him?

Re: Nicky Dal
I thought dal did ok today. And no to trading him. The club would lose more than any gain it may recieve. If we treat our veterans badly why would players like jack stay in the future if they are offered bigger money. It would go against the culture that the club is trying to create.

He's one of the few that can actually hit a team mate 20 metres away!
