Might be worth watching just to see how he goes!
Trouble is if he plays a blinder we probably can't/won't get him.

And if he plays a shocker we won't want him.

Looking for something in between I suppose then.
Delaney out of the side, he couldn't play because he arranged a meeting with Watters, it was called a toe injury cos he was putting his toe into the Seaford waters.

Watters may tell him he's a little too tall for our backline..

The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

Cam Delaney out! Luke is playing, no. 15.

He's going ok too!

Interesting article, looks like we are interested!

14 games in 2 years suggests we wouldnt want to pay more than a third round for him.

Solid looking unit. Gotta be a step up from the oompah loompahs currently populating our backline.....

Bit of a dodgy kick but has a crack and is a good size.

Worth a 3rd rounder at best.

You don't get a ready made KPB for a third rounder usually so i think we will need to pay overs to get him even though on paper it's all he's worth. Read the article and you can see why he's not played many they have an enviable list of tall backs and they lost Josh Gibson to the Hawks.

Tony delaney always looked like he might be good one day but forgot to get there. I loved Callaghan and Gavin Mitchell as ex freo boys. Mitchell looked like that too and Dirty Harry had knee issues but sat behind the bar at Moorabbin and looked like a garden gnome with that beard. Memories.

Probably why they are top 4.

Spoke to a North supporter at work and he sees both Delaney boys as a bit flakey. But we are seriously desperate, so don't be surprised......................

Goes in hard; usually ends up quite battered.

Probably why they are top 4.

Why does that make sense to you? Because they have several tall backs they should be top 4? We have too many small forwards and running mid sized backs does that mean we should be top 4?

North are the best team outside the 8 by a huge margin. They will be top 4 next year IMO and are a better team than Richmond and a few others in the 8 from what I have seen. Give them another year of development and a bit of confidence and watch them roll.

Well IMO they have a lot of tall backs but i wouldnt go anywhere near enviable list. No idea if they will be top 4 next year but I do know Richmand are a very good side. have no idea why have to be given another year. They made the eight last year. By the way who is dropping out of the top 4 because Richmond have nothing to do with it at the moment. They may in 3 weeks though.

Scott Mc Mahon, Lauchie Hansen who are developing nicely, Grima who is experienced and solid the two Delaneys and Tom Curran. They got rid of Pedersen last year but still have 6 on their list that are genuine KPBs that's compared to teams like us with zero. Enviable in comparison.

On top 4 I'm not sure who will make way. Geelong might still be the most vulnerable because they do have a lot of ageing players.

Sorry I didnt realise it was a comparision between us and North. Ormond are enviable by comparision if that is the case.

If they are everywhere- AFL standard KPBs why are Sydney and Hawks both still sniffing one out along with several others. Hawks have a stop gap in Lake but have played without a genuine tall KPB for a few years with only gibson to hold out the monster forwards.
