Think id be happier with Gartlett - at least if Gartlett comes to Melbourne he will have left his 'mates' behind and could be capable of a clean start whereas Martin still has all his 'mates' hanging around .

I also agree with this post if we are going to take a chance on a troubled player GARLETT would be a much smarter option ! Taylor ADAMS has an assault charge against him for belting a bloke at a night club but has shown to really knuckle down and play some good footy since then so he would be another preferred option IMO.

Well a good offer of cash would always help....and Martin's lifelong love of the St.Kilda FC wouldn't hurt the chances of it potentially happening either. All hypothetically of course.

St Kilda needs to use the next few years to recruit competently and limit player payments to what they are really worth.
