Kosi & Blake - When??
Will the Club make room for both Kosi and Blakey to play their last games at Etihad?
If so, against Gold Coast, or the last match against Freo.
I think that their past service to the Club deserves a farewell home game for each (Kosi's 200). The games themselves do not matter.

Well Kosi sint fit to play yet so it may have to be the last game. Blake was best yesterday so he may even play next week.
Re: Kosi & Blake - When??
Contrary to what some people say on here, I think they should.
Both have had their ups and downs through their careers, but both have been great servants to the club.
It doesn't matter one iota whether they earn their spot or not, it would just be purely as a nice farewell gesture by the club!!
If it is going to happen, I reckon the last game would be the game to do it.

Sam Newman's last game for Geelong (300th), was on the bench, in the days when there were no rotations.

Re: Kosi & Blake - When??
Round 22 v Gold Coast is "FANS DAY". There will be a couple of SAINTS TRAINS as well as our "LOYALTY MARCH" around Etihad Stadium. I reckon that this would be a FANTASTIC time to THANK both these guys for their LOYALTY & DEDICATION to our club !!
NEW scarf signature (hopefully with correct spelling) will be here as soon as it arrives !!

Good idea if both are fit enough to play.

Re: Kosi & Blake - When??
Both players should get one last match, either at home vs GC or Freo. I remember when Stewie handed over his guernsey to Kosi, and Burke to X. Both ended up with careers pretty much crippled by injury. Not a great track record haha. But it's more a symbol of passing on the passion for the club.

Last game against Freo - then Ross can announce that they are both retiring!

Re: Kosi & Blake - When??
SW said something which I thought was interesting
stated that the players that have played less than 15 games look and see how the club treats players that have played for 10yrs and it helps form their attitudes towards the club (words to that extent).
I thought it was a good point

Re: Kosi & Blake - When??
according to AW Kosi had another setback which will keep him out of full training for three weeks. So his best chance of playing his 200 th is as an injured sub.

Re: Kosi & Blake - When??
Maybe 199 is better than 200?
After all how much romance is tied up in Bradman's last innings dismissal and his average of 99.94
would those four runs changed our view of his career?

Re: Kosi & Blake - When??
Gee we keep talking about Kosi .... but who knows - Lenny and Milney might also be playing their last game. We could be cheering off 4 Saints after the Freo game. MInd you, I really want Lenny to play on and I'd be happy to see Milne go another year providing that court stuff is sorted out over summer.
