I was at the game and have watched it since on foxtel. He butchered the ball and I could have kicked that 65 metre goal with that wind (not on my non preferred though).

the worst part of that is he ignored the coaches repeated instructions to be clinical with ball movement and disposal

this is exactly why he hasnt received a call up

I guess it would be pretty hard to break into the senior team at the moment anyway

Whilst I dont believe you can read into efficiency stats given the horrible conditions, this might give you bit of idea on how everyone went with their kicking.

Tom Ledger - 27 kicks @ 51%

Jason Blake 11 kicks @ 54.4

Darren Minchington 11 kicks @ 54.4

Cam Shenton 10 kicks @ 90%

Adam Cockie 18 kicks @ 55%

Myke Cook 16 kicks @ 62%

Adam Schneider 5 kicks @ 40%

I also went through most of other players and no point posting them all but the average kicking efficiency was about 50-55%.

“Cam Shenton continued his great run of form. He has been outstanding the last five weeks … the way he is willing to take the game on and actually take a lot of responsibility down back in regards to how set-ups are set-up.” – Sandringham Assistant coach Matt Embling

Who says these things? I cant remember anyone saying it apart from you occassionally. I thought it was you trying to be sarcastic but maybe you actually mean it.

Why is Riewoldt blonde yet Gilbert appears to be blonde?

I've never seen a bad St.Kilda player - that's just how they are.
