Tom Ledger??
Seriously, what's going on their???
Maybe what I heard was true, must be something??
He's earnt a game ahead of Siposs, Saunders, Murdoch, Wright, Webster and a few others on VFL form.... And after 3 seasons of good VFL performances, you'd think he's paid his dues? Last three games I've seen he's clearly been Sandys best??
We are not winning ball, and he's a ball magnet?
I am miffed?????
There is an underlying reason, that is obvious... Because on face value, he deserves a spot, an opportunity....
Strange

Re: Tom Ledger??
Ledger not being played just highlights the issues the Saints have with coaching staff IMO. With the midfield and small forwards we have he should have been playing seniors all year !
SAINTS another day older another day closer to the Holy Grail!

That's definitely "kicking the door down". Maybe next week. There WILL be changes as the seniors are coming back from Brisbane with a 6 day break !! !!
NEW scarf signature (hopefully with correct spelling) will be here as soon as it arrives !!
Re: Tom Ledger??
Well the midfield coach Laidley & forwards coach Kingsley are never seen at TBBO matches, how could they really know what's going on if they rarely go?WinnersOnly wrote:Ledger not being played just highlights the issues the Saints have with coaching staff IMO. Re: Tom Ledger??
He's kicked the door down for a fair while I would think..... How did first year players with average VFL form waltz straight past him??
How many on the list have not got a game this year??

Re: Tom Ledger??
I think I've been to 3 games this year at Sandy. I have seen Scott Watters, Dean Laidley and Aaron Hamill at EVERY ONE of them. Adam Kingsley may have been there too, and/but I didn't recognise/see him !!saintgee wrote:Well the midfield coach Laidley & forwards coach Kingsley are never seen at TBBO matches, how could they really know what's going on if they rarely go?WinnersOnly wrote:Ledger not being played just highlights the issues the Saints have with coaching staff IMO. Re: Tom Ledger??
Strange one.
he and Michington seemed to be going alright for Sandytoday.
Ledger gets his own pill. Doesn't use it very well, but
a) it was a very blustery day
b) our list isn't filled with accurate kicks.
I would think he should be given a go

Lance or James??

Re: Tom Ledger??
Pretty ordinary team Sandy, is that a reflection of Sandy, or the Saints list ?
The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?
Re: Tom Ledger??
Markworth, Ledger, White, Lever and Pierce. Also Shenton, Staley and Minchington (rookies). No idea what's going on with him - none of us do - but it doesn't look good.BigMart wrote:He's kicked the door down for a fair while I would think..... Ledger deserves a game and of he doesn't"t get one after today , we should be told why!

Re: Tom Ledger??
If he is missing out due to disposal, there are half a dozen worse playing in the seniors??
Technically a good kick, just slams it a bit quickly, or does the opposite and holds it too long and kicks under pressure....
Just needs to back himself in congestion and give first option more...

And exactly what did he do with any of them? And don't blame the conditions, he's the same every week.
He gets plenty of it and then murders the ball. Turns it over so much he can't help but get 30+ possessions.
Old enough to repaint, but young enough to sell

I wouldn't be surprised if he is delisted, that'll mean we have only 2 players left from that draftBernard Shakey wrote:westcoast wrote:38 possessions today for sandy, more than handy

Re: Tom Ledger??
It's interesting
If I highlight Jack turning it over, it's blasphemy ...... Because he's at least having a go.... And winning the footy
Ledger turning it over, well that's a different story? Doesn't matter if he wins the ball.....

Maybe because one is playing AFL and the other is VFL. What a strange and a no nothing poster.

Re: Tom Ledger??
Shakey youve always had something against this kid. Every post is negative from you. He has a crack and averages over 27 touches for the year. Simply deserves a chance
