Better balanced side but wouldnt think lenny will come up. Even Rooy would be doubtful.

Re: Round 19 Team v Brisbane Lions
If Riewoldt plays I don't want to hear the same old injury excuses, not as though we are jostling for a position in the 8 and he will be the difference.
You run out there you had better be able to perform otherwise sit in the coaches box .

Agree- you can't see them getting up but who will they put in? Might lose the balance.

Hickey and TDL not named to play at Sandy, so fair say they'll travel and Ross will stay back and play VFL. On sidenote, Ahmed Saad not playing at all this weekend

Great news that Stanley is still in.
Much better than trying a newbie like Shenton that has shown some form

Well you cant see a few arent getting enough chances. I reckon 3 or 4 players are on their last legs for this year if they perform. A couple would be on their last AFL legs if they dont do somthing.

Re: Round 19 Team v Brisbane Lions
P66 Do you mean some of the inclusions are on their last chance - or the ones seemingly overlooked every week, and not playing. Or both.
Not clear

No the ones actually picked like Siposs, Curren and Stanley.

Stanley will play while fit because there isn't many big guys to take a key back post. Curren will want more than 2 possies and Siposs will want to show he's worth his spot or I think it might be them done for 2013 too.

Siposs at least has a contract. Curren could be done forever if he plays like he did last week. Might be harsh but he is a third year rookie mid so he needs to get the ball a bit.

Would have liked Ledger in, as Siposs looked terrible against the Cats and shouldn't be gifted a game. I would keep playing Hickey. Not sure where Watters is coming from.

Well also players not getting selected could also be on the way out. Thing is how can they delist someone without really giving them a proper chance? We're not on the inside to know why some, like Ledger, don't get a game.

Maybe his old man has bribed Watters to play his son?PADDLEPOP1001 wrote:God knows how Sipposs is still in there!
It beggars belief how Sippa could get a game based on that effort.
