Gilbert
Reports from the injury thread are as follows
4th June - 6 to 8 weeks
13th June - 5 to 7 weeks - from Tony74 - Gilbert's not as far away as predicted. Was running hard last week. 2 laps to Schneiders 1 unfortunately
18th June - 4 to 6 weeks
25th June - 3 to 5 weeks
2nd July - 4 to 5 weeks
10th July - 3 to 4 weeks
16th July - 3 weeks
23rd July - 3 weeks
30th July - 2 weeks
So 6 weeks ago he was running hard yet he is still 2 weeks away - setback??

Re: Gilbert
Possibly or you are just showing how much of a crock this official injury lists are.
You'd think the saints website or Facebook would've reported about Gilbo at some stage?
(Unless of course the "setback" is something else )

Re: Gilbert
Drug investigation? Beams (the Pies rapist) was out for 16 weeks with a "quad" strain which is exactly the amount of time for an infraction suspension
A real Sainter will pledge allegiance to the ❤ and despise the Pies, the Blues, and the Injectors.

Re: Gilbert
Agree 100%. Alleging someone to be a rapist just to smear them is terrible. Beams was investigated and cleared - he doesn't deserve that stigma anymore.clarky449 wrote:Do you like when Milne is called a Rapist?WellardSaint wrote:Drug investigation? Re: Gilbert
I think Gilbert doesn't have much of a future, to be honest. Unless he can seriously improve his kicking, he just isn't worth having in the side. Roberton has slotted into his role very nicely - he's a similar size, similarly courageous and breaks the lines, but he can also kick! GIlbert used to set himself apart with brilliant tackling but that has dropped off in the past few years.
We need to be building our next finals side with players who can execute a game plan and not cause costly turnovers under no pressure on a regular basis. We should have traded him two years ago, I'd be happy with a pick in the early-mid thirties for him.
