I would assume Cam Shenton for his caveman hairstyle.

Re: Sandy V Cats
The less said about todays performance the better. Only Saints players that can hold head high would be Schneider, Shenton, Ledger, Pierce. The less said about game the better!

Expect the same result as TC, neither are AFL quality at the moment and I doubt Lurker ever will be. He wouldn't let the medical staff stop his chin bleeding today, because he wanted to be out there. It's all about Ledge, not about the team just about me!

We need to be told he's not the new Goddard. We lose BJ & some bloke on here dubs him the 'new Goddard' & It's taken as some sort of gospel fact. Better yet, that It's the player's own belief.

Re: Sandy V Cats
How is wanting to get back out on ground as quickly as possible to try help stop pathetic performance that was happening selfish? At least Ledger was giving 110% all game unlike 90% of Saints listed players. Far from selfish if you ask me.Bernard Shakey wrote:Dr Spaceman wrote:Get Ledger in.

Just quoting from an article during pre season that Sippos's was actually included in in which he seemed to think hff was to be his new posi ,and also just saying that he needs to work harder ,as a supporter would love Sippos's to make it!

People are carping on about how they have to earn a spot, but in our circumstance, at this point in the year, it does not matter.
these guys need to see what the step up is like, and they they will know exactly what they have to do to improve and work on over the summer.
The ONLY persons who should be gifted games are Kosi, Blake, and Schneids good-bye games

Ledger deserves a game, White doesnt and it will make no difference to him if he plays or not. Actually i think it will teach him you dont have to work hard to play. Others think it will give him that taste so he trains harder for next year.

White deserves a game before Lurker, at least he'll play for the team. Ledge just plays for Ledge, maybe it's in the genes.plugger66 wrote:

About time we got serious and invested in our very own VFL side, none of this affiliate stuff. Most other serious teams have done it, why not us?
When they created LENNY HAYES (in the shadow of Harvs) they forgot to break the mold (again)- hence the Supremely Incredible Jack Steven!!

Imagine the performance of the side without
Adam Cockie, Marcus Marigliani, Myke Cooke
We would have only beaten Bendigo

$ $ $ $
when only 32,600 supporters sign on as members it gets tougher..
when saints 'issues' cause sponsors to steer clear ( amazes me still that Essendon have' gained' both during this tough period yet the saints issues are- Personal and Bombers issues are team/club/player )

Re: Sandy V Cats
Can anyone close to the club actually confirm what the deal is with Ledger?
On here I read that it could be skills, or attitude, or fitness, or decision making etc?
Does anyone know one of the coaches, or Ledger, and can tell us why he doesn't get selected?
(Instead of just guesses and rumours.)

Re: Sandy V Cats
Someone said that Ledge gets called to the bench for rotations and belts the <deleted by babysitter> out of the bench, no runners or staff go near him apparently. Nathan Buckley arrogance maybe.
Hey we could use some of that passion in the seniors. Get rid of TDL & other softies.
Put in someone like Ledge who has fire in the belly.

Went to the Sandy game on Sunday and paid particular attention to Ledger. Can certainly get the ball and is not afraid to get in and under and seemed to be everywhere. Skills were ok if a bit rushed. The one thing I noticed however and have seen at training is his surly attitude and the fact that he doesn't seem to interact with others, always on his own. It's as though he's in a world of his own.

prior to the game against Freo one of the wa radio commentators referred to him as "homesick ledger"
I don't know if it was a throwaway line or not
but maybe it is already settled and he is Perth bound and therefore not being played in the ones
I have only seen in him the televised games and agree he is a ball magnet, but his disposal continues to look very ordinary. he seems rushed even when no need to be. if he finds this an issue @ vfl level would give grave doubts as to how he would cope with the increased pressure of the afl
I do stress I don't claim the above observations with any authority - as stated I have only seen Ledge on the televised games over the last few years
