Re: Mitch brown
Tom Lynch left for opportunity. Watters will come with a great reputation from his brother. He knows we can guarantee him a few years at least playing every game he's available with no one taking his spot away.

Re: Mitch brown
When I've seen him play, I've been fairly unimpressed. Proven to be average at AFL level is perhaps one way to look at it.
I'd be looking to the WAFL/SANFL/VFL before Mitch Brown.

Re: Mitch brown
Same as Zac he will improve structure and make us a better team. We need him or someone similar. The picture of him making Cloke look stressed as he punches from behind is why we need him. It would be nice to not facepalm when we see Gwilt standing next to a ruckman who has been stuck in there to stretch us. he tries hard but seriously Fisher, Simpkin and Gwilt just can't do the jobs they are sometimes expected to.

Re: Mitch brown
If we get him for nothing then good !
WC say he's in career best form , he has played 13 games this year so he must be doing alright . He's not a defender that racks up huge possessions , a bit like maxie but the important thing is his opponent not kicking a bag .
If were to trade a low pick to get him , i'd be disappointed .

Re: Mitch brown
Hope we have "plan B" this year. We need to cast our net far and wide.
IMO he has not really wanted out, he just wanted more games.
Still not convinced he will be a gun. I hope we don't get done over again by wet toast.

Re: Mitch brown
He's definitely going - why would he hold out until the end of the season unless he's looking around. He is somehow judged on his possession count but he is an old fashioned defender who will stop his man not set up play like Matthew Scarlett. Brown at the Pies would be who I would look at for a comparison. Tate Pears should be on our radar and GWS actually have glut of tall backs too.
