TDl out trade or chop...
Ok, TDLs time is up for me, guys newer than him are showing him up in attack on the ball. He is oo soft and didn't have any real impact tonight. We don't need him anymore.

He's from WA so he needs to be a protected species.
So long as he gets 2 kicks and 1 handball per game, he should be safe.
Don't want him breaking into a sweat or anything.
Besides, I go to the same Perth pub as his dad, to watch the games, and if his son didn't play, who would I drink with?

Re: TDl out trade or chop...
Defensively he is embarrassing . Curren was on the ground for 3 minutes in the third quarter and in that time had delivered more defensive pressure than lane had in the 2 quarters he'd played .
Could have made up for it if he had kicked some goals .
3 points should see him dropped , lets hope snieds has a good one tomorrrow and comes back in next week .

When Milneys time is up who will be our two crumming forwards?
Assuming Schneiderman is probably finished, then apart from Terrence Trent Darby there is only Saad and The Virus.
All three seem to have profound deficiencies.

Re: TDl out trade or chop...
I always thought every footy club had a DVD review of the game on a Monday or so, where everyone watches the game.
TDL should sit down the back wearing dark sunnies and a hoodie.
How the f* can any of the match committee say he is in the best 22?
Unbelievable.
Yep, the kids have given more effort. Why let them stagnate at Sandy but let this bunny run out on the ground?

Re: TDl out trade or chop...
Watch the replay of Saunders getting crunched, and see where TDL is....
3 meters off his opponent, waiting for the cheap ball to come out the back. He needed to get involved in the contest, take his man off his run at the ball and call Saunders in.
Genuine list clogger ATM. Get a kid with potential in, not a VFL standard hack.

Im done with him
This goes for anyone out there - if you arent that fast and youre 70kg and 25 yo - you cant play AFL footy.
Had plenty of chances -could have built his body but chose not to.
Ive got no sympathy for this guy.

Re: TDl out trade or chop...
Ill give you the red hot tip.
We cant trade him because no other club would want him. We were the only ones dumb enough to take him for 46. Sydney must be pissing themselves.
I suppose we broke even given they took Tommy Walsh.

Re: TDl out trade or chop...
And all of them should be delisted come end of season. They simply don't have what it takes to be AFL footballers in the future.BigMart wrote:Our small fwds have been the most disappointing players on the list..... All of them
Anyway, we should develop a midfild that has smalls who can also play up forward. The idea of a permanent small forward seems to becoming increasingly redundant. Milne will be one of the last of the purebred small forwards. Bring on the new breed of Leigh Matthews-style smalls I say.
Curb your enthusiasm - you’re a St.Kilda supporter!!
Re: TDl out trade or chop...
I think you can have 1 permanent small forward in a game. The thing is tdl is a marking lead up small, where Saad, despite his poor showing this year, is more crummer opportunist. Your point though is valid, if ya can't play through middle then jog on.Sainternist wrote:And all of them should be delisted come end of season. Wish we had pick 46 back and used it to take another youngster
Think next year it's gotta be guys rotating through.

Re: TDl out trade or chop...
It's totally unfair to compare a 20 something player at his second AFL club with a few years experience to a newbie that wears the number 35 that brings zero pressure onto the wearer.St Chris wrote:Watch the replay of Saunders getting crunched, and see where TDL is....

A lot of folk are delusional and think all our players have trade value.plugger66 wrote:Trade for what? Delist or keep.

Re: TDl out trade or chop...
Not sure why he was traded in
We had
Milne, Schnieder, Saad, Milera, Minchington, Curran... You only need 1 or 2 small fwds in the senior team and double that on the list....
I'd rather the picked a worse player in hope, in a needed area

Not defending TDL but if he was so s.hit, why was he an emergency for last years GF?
Out of courtesy or pity? I am sure Sydney tried to pick the best 25 for the biggest game of the year.

Lance or James??

I think that can happen though. With a bit of luck Robert Eddy would have played in 2 winning GF's and see how much crap he cops on here.

Re: TDl out trade or chop...
Seriously how do TDL and Milera rate in the heart department compared to Fiora?
If memory serves me correctly at least Fiora's disposal was elite...........
