Re: Changes Next Week vs Geelong
What about milney , he was average again !
Lee did bugger all , webster hard at it but average disposal .
You wonder what the conditions will be like next week down at the cattery . If its like tonight they may want more smalls .

Get Seb Ross in the side.
But seriously dont dump Stanley - Let him play as a Ruckman.

At whose expense? McEvoy and Hickey were good I thought.

Is this your high horse this week. the good thing is it will stop in 2 days and something else will take your fancy. Drop Stanley. He doesnt deserve his spot.

Re: Changes Next Week vs Geelong
Stanley needs to keep on playing. We need him in defence. Lee did nothing? 2 goals... wtf do you want from game 5 especially when we only played half a game. Need to get wright, ross and geary in. Maybe for tdl, jones and milne. I love jones and milne but maybe its time for the young uns to all play. I suspect watters is very concious of working these young bodies too hard or playing em injured...dont want another luke ball situation

My dead Grandma would be better than UDL.bergsone wrote:Don't think Schneider will come back in with only one run with Sandy, but would be perfect replacement for TDL
And yes Schneids needs about 3 ressies games.

OUT: Roberton (conc), TDL, Ray
IN: Geary, Ross, Ledger
E: Dunell,

Jones really needs to tag Selwood next week. If he nullifies him we may have a chance.
What's up with Newnes? Might be time for him to have a break too, played 11 games in a row now. If he needs a rest, bring Dunell in.

Re: Changes Next Week vs Geelong
Lee has clearly shown is last 3 games that he is a footballer with good ability. We just need to pump games into him and build up his core strength wit 2 more pre-seasons.mr six o'clock wrote: Lee did bugger all , .
Importantly with Lee he can read the play and know show to get to dangerous spots. We would be mad to not keep playing him.

The poor bloke's stuck on 215 games and with retirement likely at the end of the year it's quite possible he'll never get that 216th. We may have to gift it to him.

Blake- match report says he had 17 touches with Sandy.
Not sure if he's lost heart.

Re: Changes Next Week vs Geelong
Now that Milne is back he won't be dropped regardless of form IMO. I doubt the Saints want to give any ammo to Milne or his management re selection for the remainder of the season. Easier that way. Of course if he got injured it's a different scenario.dragit wrote:Out: TDL, Milne, Hickey

Not saying I'm happy with the above situation, I'd be happy for him to be just dropped if warranted. (but as TDL, Saad & Milera are all crap, Milne stays!).
