Not likely given our ability to counter other teams and our poor clearance record.
Expect a 100 point drubbing if things don't change.
Midfield clearances and clear winners are needed to make an effective forward line.
You need to protect the ball handler to increase posession efficiency

Disgraceful and a complete reflection of Watters coaching abilities ...
SAINTS another day older another day closer to the Holy Grail!

If he isn't carrying an injury - trade him, because he is a liability the way he can't jump and cover ground. Surely he is injured in some way. Surelyjonesy wrote:Big boy getting another bath against a second stringer

Re: Game thread v Port
One thing i've noticed, all our players spend too much time looking at each other pointing and giving out directions, where as port know exactly what they are doing and just get on with it. That was probably our 2nd worst qrt for the year right then, pathetic.

Agreed,Darcehole and Taylor are seriously pathetic, happy feet wrote:Not good at home either. Brian Taylor commentary is absolutely woeful. Worst commentator I have ever heard. A complete joke.
Making this game even more unwatchable , sack theses imbeciles please ....
100 goals in 14 games...Lockett is the key
Re: Game thread v Port
Nobody won a contest that quarter.
Quite odd to watch.
Was there one, can anyone remind me?

Re: Game thread v Port
Just proving to me that Watters hasn't got a clue how to coach..undisciplined effort, no defensive game, poorly prepared team. NDS is definitely in self- preservation mode
Re: Game thread v Port
A few observations
Hickey is hopeless.... A Gumby and whoever spent that much on a player we didn't need, let alone a Gumby should be sacked
Stanley is scared.... Od effort and body contact, he has been shown up by Westhoff for being a timid soft clock
They are organised, we are not.... Not well coached... An 8 man fwd line to congest space at our end, open up space at theirs to allow 1on1 for their bigs is simply ridiculous....
He can't strategically coach, that much is very obvious over the course of 2013....

He also used the same strategy against Judd last week.

Preaching to the converted here. People talk about being aggressive with the rebuild, but we have no currency to trade....falka wrote:If he isn't carrying an injury - trade him, because he is a liability the way he can't jump and cover ground. Supporters should understand that we were always going to struggle in the back half of the season. Young players in a rebuilding side always do.

Re: Game thread v Port
Serious question
Has the game past dempster and gwilt by ? Or are they made to look bad by our undermanned midfield or a combo of both ?
These two are no longer reliable.
