When a team bids for McDonald then North must use their NEXT pick if they want him. McDonald is a highly rated prospect and widely regarded as one of the best in the draft. It's more likely than not that North will need to use their first pick on him.

Best Mid is crucial...we're about to go from 3 elite midfielders (and in recent past - 5 if you include BAll and Goddard)....to none!
Nee!

Don't start to bring in a fact regards our recruiting. Everyone on this forum to the man in the street believes are drafting of kids has been pathetic. Let's leave it at that. If we can't blame someone outright, then it makes it harder to cop regards our present situation. Our last two top twenty picks were, McEvoy and Lynch. If they had been stars we would be better off than we are now.True Believer wrote:Interesting comment from Watters at last night's presser. Apparently we have had the least number of top 20 picks of any club over the past decade. It'd funny but I've never thought of it in those terms, but it's certainly a disadvantage when trying to maintain a strong list from on top of the ladder.
