I prefer to think that someone after 2001 and again after 2005 who was regarded by many as the equal or better than Roo was actually unlucky in his injury cruelled career .... Instead of being the player he could have, limping to 200 games and having a serviceable career.
I remember him as honest, brave and a great team man
Unfortunately Kosi's career was cruelled by that off the ball bump against the Dogs.
I suspect he suffered some form of TBI and was never the same player again.
He remained serviceable until this year where he seems to have markedly lost form and ability.
Flying the World in comfort thanks to FF Points....

Agree 100%, and that incident may have been the catalyst for the bump law change.
Gino would've got around 3 weeks for that dog act nowadays. Shame Kosi had to be the fall guy.
i am Melbourne Skies - sometimes Blue Skies, Grey Skies, even Partly Cloudy Skies.
Hope he gets to 200. would be a well deserved and nice way for him to finish. A loyal saint who gave great service. Never reached the heights we had hoped for but he's not alone there. Heard him interviewed pre game on radio last week or week before, not sure which, and he said he is fairly certain it will be his last year.
I am looking forward to cheering Kosi, Blakey and maybe even Lenny and Milney off after our final game against Freo and I am also looking forward to our former coach's acknowledgement of their services to him, either on the field or in his arrogant, mumbling, disinterested, world weary press conference after the game!
its time to make a name for yourself like you've never made before!
