Standing Down as a Mod.

Hi guys,

Over the past 18 months, my ability to commit to this site has dwindled. The Saints and this site remain a passion of mine, however it is no longer appropriate for me to remain as a moderator given that I simply cannot fulfil the duties necessary due to other interests and commitments in my life.

I thank all those who have helped me over the past 3 years and I urge all of you to stick with the site and the club.

Nobody is saying that DCSKFC was a bad mod. Credit to him in standing up and admitting that life changes had affected his presence on here.

The problem is not the quality of the Mods, just the number of them.

Agree 100%.

How many mods is the right number? Depends on how often they visit SS, but I reckon 4 would regulars would be an ideal number. Any more and it would be too confusing, less and it's too big a burden.

To answer your questions GO and saintspremiers, I'm not sure how many we need.

What we have to ABSOLUTELY guarantee is that a mod is not hounded out of the place.

This has happened in the past with the mods character being questioned and being accused as biased.

We have to completly guarantee a potential mod that they will not be hounded and stalked by disgruntled members.

If you have a beef about a fellow poster, put them on ignore.

If a poster is not being yellow or red carded in your opinion, put them on ignore.

This is not a shot at anyone, but we need to give the mods confidence that they can maintain order in the new forum.

If you are yellow or red carded, wear it. If someone isn't wear it.

We all need to change attitudes and the way we percieve this place (IMHO of course)

Thanks for all your time and effort. Love checking in on the forum to see what other Saint supporters are thinking! Seems to be very few around our area and none at my work so great to have a place to 'vent' and share!
