Fair call. Youd think they will give Nate until end of 2016 if he keeps it up for another year.
But sheesh Im happy with these 4 blokes. This time 6 months ago none of us had much hope for any of them except maybe Newnes.
So for Webster and Seb to step it up - and then Roberton to show what he is capable of has been a big shot in the arm for us.
Crikey - things are grim at the Saints but without these 4 blokes ( and Wright and Murdoch) things would be looking super crook.

The sooner Tom is promoted the better. Would be playing seniors at 8-10 AFL Clubs I feel.

We are the 3'rd worst team in the comp to date, and have arguably the 2nd shallowest midfield behind Melbourne, how can he possibly get in another 8-10 clubs when he can't get in ours??.. Our are match committee that inept in identifying talent??
BTW, rapt to hear the news of the signatures... A lot of faith in those 4 boys, quality players, and seemingly quality young men..

I want him promoted as well. Dont get me wrong.
But its a bit rich to say hed get a game anywhere else - like the Saints are so good he cant get a game.
We are 3rd bottom and have the sh*ttest midfield in the League.
Take Roo out and we are BOTTOM.
This so called 'shittest midfield' still managed to beat Carlton with Judd, Murphy and Gibbs in it, and matched West Coast who many would class as a top midfield group (though underperfomring this year).
The difference between the midfields of teams 1-16 is not huge.
Our problem is that we don't have enough mids.
Lenny, Dal and Monty are not in their prime any more but continue to be excellent players.
Steven and Armo continue to improve.
All of these players would get in to any other team's midfield... but there isn't much else...
Ray and Jones are GOPs. If we dropped one to play a youngster we would certainly get worse results... though it may be time to do that...
IMO we need to play a max of 2 small forwards and perhaps only one if they don't demand selection and play an extra 1-2 mids over what we are playing e.g. Curren
Also for Newnes, Geary and Webster to continue to get stints through the middle as circumstances allow.
Hird... The unflushable one is now... just a turd...

they certainly get him out in the community and sell him like he's part of the club despite the fact he doesn't get elevated. I think we will get him elevated before the end of the season though just to keep him from leaving.
Well done to lock in Roberton especially who would be in our top 4 in our best and fairest IMO. Our best recruit for ages. Nice group of very promising kids signed on as well.
