I have no idea. he plays young kids. Not sure it really up to him to develop them. Surely we have specific coaches for that.

He may very well be and part of this kids development is to develope his game in the VFL so he is ready for AFL.

Would it surprise you to find out that nearly a third of our team (7 players) yesterday had played less than 30 games? If we include Roberton (his 50th yesterday) we had 10 out of 22 players with 50 games or less. That is nearly half the team. Of the games total for out team yesterday (1951), 46% of the games (904) were from just four players - Roo, Dal, Joey and Kosi. If that's not playing kids I don't know what it, but there is surely a limit to the number of kids we can tip into the team before we simply end up playing Sandy as our seniors??

Who comes out for Curren to come in?

Basically Roo has played as many games by himself as half of yesterdays team combined - how big a smashing do you want?

I wouldn't be getting over excited by VFL form. Admittedly, I've only seen a couple of VFL games this year BUT the difference in skill, speed, size and structure is GINORMOUS. I saw Tommy Curran play a fantastic Quarter when Sandy came from behind to beat the Northern Blues and it appears that he put in a really good 4 quarter effort on Saturday. He is still on the rookie list for a reason. He may have deficiencies and aspects that he needs to work on that we don't know about !!

Happy to see TC get a chance, or even Ledger. A mid who works hard, has dash and wins the contest is a must as I'm getting a bit tired of our guys standing there flat-footed while the opposition raffle the ball. Ross needs to go back to the VFL as that's the standard he is at as a mid.

I think Seb is due for a rest, he looked shot yesterday, Curren looks a similar type so maybe thats where his opportunity is. Maybe give Ledger a run at the expense of Milera.

We've got two spots from injuries and mid season upgrades on the list which enables us to upgrade rookies. We are rock bottom it's not like we're playing for a finals spot. Our midfield is close to the worst in the competition. We have plenty of salary cap space (if upgrading rookies costs us more). From what I've read Curren is our best performed St Kilda listed midfielder playing for Sandy (Ledger as well and he can't get a game). Seriously the selection committee is out of excuses not to play the bloke.
