Value on Scanlens card?

Post: # 1350704Post RememberJDaniels »

Hi all

I used to collect Scanlens cards (the collection that included most clubs went awol through years of moving around) but there are a few that turn up here and there these days.

The other day I found a signed Rene Kink card from 1984 from his Essendon days that was given to me years ago. Some of the older Saints fans on here would remember when he later joined St.Kilda after previously playing the bulk of his career with Collingwood, then a little with the Bombers too.

Some thoughts would be much appreciated as I'm no good at estimating value.

Cheers

Dunno, but I might swap you for my Ken Sheldon card.

Depends on years and condition.
Could go from 5 to 15 bucks at a rough guess.
Things that get the good price is mint card no dents no creases no dinged corners no stains and a player that was very well known and a great player.
I've got a few saints cards and went thru a huge collection phase about two year ago.
I've serious calmed down as over 700 is enough.
Just look for the odd older one or certain player now.
