I wasnt upset that we lost. I didn't barrack for us to lose but the end result didnt wreck my long weekend the way it would've if we needed to win to make top 4, I don't think anyone on here could say that.

IMHO Roo needs a holiday from August, Hayes if he plays on also.

Play kids - find out who is gonna make the grade......maybe rest the captaincy on some new bloods shoulders for a few weeks.......time is good.

If the difference between Lenny playing on another year is having a rest in August this year then yes finish up the year early.

If not (i.e. he's going to play on regardless) then I'd rather he played as many games as possible.

Assuming that we don't play in finals this year or next, Lenny needs to play another 31 out of 33 possible games to hit the 300.

Don't think its who finishes higher on the ladder, saints or demons, that will hurt the drafing position. it will be whether the AFL award a priority to pick. Don't won't to see your club finish bottom 4 and another club jump a extra pick in the draft.

I think the Gold Coast and GWS have already activated mid-first round compo picks, so when you add possible free agency compo picks the first and second round picks start to get futher down the list.
