We might and might being the keyword.evo wrote:Looked like he belonged tonight, might have a good one here.
To me he is going to be a clever somewhat flaky flanker who won't get enough of the ball to show his above average skills.
Re: Dunell
Yes a positive from tonight, reminds me of Ray when he marks overhead...seems completely out of it, but has a good reach
Re: Dunell
saunders okay under pressure too.....
.everybody still loves lenny....and we always will

Re: Dunell
Moves well and is a good size. He shut down one of the better endurance players in the comp. He may have found his niche.
Re: Dunell
I liked his last quarter. He won a couple of crucial contests.stinger wrote:saunders okay under pressure too.....

Re: Dunell
Dropped 2 totally uncontessted overhead marks that I can remember, there may have been more. Apart from that he was ok.

Re: Dunell
Dropped a couple of marks wich he should have taken early on but seemed to deal with the pace of game and had a cool head under pressure
Needs more bulk as do most of our youngsters but definitely a plus re the way he went about it

A GOP
Like Maister, Curran, Mini, Eddy and all those types.... Very good VFL.... OK at AFK level....
He could be a role player, very versatile.... He is more confident and assured in the VFL...

Looked fairly confident and assured tonight whilst doing an absolute demolition job on a former no 3 draft pickBigMart wrote:A GOP

Re: Dunell
Disagree. Unlike those players, he has skill, smarts and composure. Can play at either end to good effect as well. His stats may look GOP-like, but he is a very classy, effective player.BigMart wrote:A GOP

Re: Dunell
Set up one nice goal... But that play would be expected from any footballer at VFL standard or better
Fumbled the ball a bit... Did a great job defensively on Gaff...
He's not bad

Re: Dunell
Wouldn't say he is slow burnt off gaff at one stage. Remember he had a tagging role not a license to roam. Will get better if given the time to be an afl footballer as saad is given.

Dunell should be a regular...... I think he is in our best 22 and I'm astounded that it's taken so long for him to get a game this year.

he never consistently dominated the VFL so he should have been cut by now as certain forumites will tell youBurkey 1 wrote:I agree with Dragit, can't believe it has taken 11 weeks for him to get a damn game !!!!

Good game today tagging Gaff and still contributed offensively.
Old enough to repaint, but young enough to sell

Re: Dunell
Think he just has some composer under pressure. Not gonna be a star but at 22 worth keeping for a bit and see how he goes
