Guess Dal Santo and Ray get a break from folks wanting them tipped out this week
In: A clearance player like Ledger / Jones. Consider Maister, Simpkin, Lee, Saunders, Murdoch & TDL
Simpkin plays tall back -> Stanley forward
Out: Wright (if inj) Saad maybe Siposs / Ferguson
Webster full game

Ledger isnt on the list so cant play - but agree id give him a go if he was.
So he cant kick but id rather a bloke who gets his hands on it in a clearance rather than watching the opposition win it unopposed time and time again.
and anyone but CJ!

Care to narrow it down a bit further. You've named 8 ins and four outs.MCG-Unit wrote:Guess Dal Santo and Ray get a break from folks wanting them tipped out this week

Re: Guess this weeks ins and outs
The 'Ins' is from those 8 players listed above - very hard to pick this week, they will name a squad of 25 - probably only be about 2-3 changes on SundayBernard Shakey wrote:Care to narrow it down a bit further. Re: Guess this weeks ins and outs
From what watters said through the media this week, it sounds as if he is keen to give his midfield a chance to learn from that early onslaught and bounce back. Does this mean many changes...to be honest I have absolutely no idea!! Selection has been all over the shop, I hope some of the players are getting feedback or at least some sort of clearer message than we are as to a lot of selections this year. Maister/jones/ray/TDL/milera coming in and out not always on vfl form baffles me. What I'd like to see this week...
B: wright Stanley simpkin (if deemed fit enough)
HB: dempster fergusen roberton
C: NDS Armitage montagna
HF : dunell rooey Siposs
F: Milne hickey Murdoch
Foll: mcevoy Steven Geary
Int: newnes, Ross, Webster
Sub: Sam fisher
All will be revealed shortly (well not really, is it just me or does watters flat out spin bull**** at team announcement? I'm pretty sure in every single game he has been coach, the named side has been changed! It's. real bug bear of mine, but it seems like pointless dishonesty. It's not like we're currently a gun team trying to eek out that winning edge with some edgy mind games on the opposition! As a supporter, I'd just love to knowing, barring obvious late injury who is the selected best 22 for the weekend! Too much to ask? Sorry everyone, rant over.

Not sure what you're on, but Ledger is on the list, maybe you were thinking of rookie Curren?Con Gorozidis wrote:MCG-Unit wrote:Guess Dal Santo and Ray get a break from folks wanting them tipped out this week

So you don't mind Ledger, even if he has poor disposal sometimes, but not Jones who is almost the same, a good clearance player but a poor kick
One or both would be good, they need in and under types.

Re: Guess this weeks ins and outs
Ferg was well of the pace last week, but I Spose you have to persist. Simpkin should really be ahead of him. Hoping he will come in the second half of year. Lee seem like he had a good game in vfl, surely saad need to go back to vfl to kick a few goals. Milne should have a rest too
Soo
Ferg, saad , Milne , sippos - out
Simpkin , Tdl , lee , ledger - in

Re: Guess this weeks ins and outs
Would have prefered to see Lee and anybody called "Bull" in the forward line, happy to drop a small forward, and dissapointed to lose Fisher.
