Re: Absolute rabble in Q1
We have sunk to a new low.
Such little effort. Have seen two Saints stop after they just assumed the ball would go over the line..which it didn't and so two easy possessions to North.

Get used to it Saints fans. It will take a few years, and it'll be worse before it gets better.

Yep things are going well - who still thinks Watters can coach because there are 22 blokes running around at Etihad who don't! Absolutely no effort they were a team defeated they started !

I think with a bit of luck we can get pick 1? atleast we don't have to try and trade for decent picks this year?

What do you mean 'gets better'?Johnny Member wrote:Get used to it Saints fans. It will take a few years, and it'll be worse before it gets better.

Sir Alec wouldn't help at the moment.
Squeezing the odd extra goal or trying to pinch a win isn't what is needed.

Watters can't do it for them on the ground.
Gutless effort from the players.

Re: Absolute rabble in Q1
Maybe I have repressed memories, because I watched the entire 80's pass by, but I don't feel like I can remember a worse qtr of football. Effort and intensity just, well, not there. And if someone can explain what our game plan is (other than allow North players to run free)??

Re: Absolute rabble in Q1
You've got to be realistic.
Of the 'guns' that are left, none aside from Roo were ever really ball winners.
Joey and Dal were guns But never really the types of dudes who would roll their sleeves up and drag the team over the line. Even Sam Fisher was really an expert as 3rd man up and getting free.
At the moment, we can't win the nut. There are kids everywhere.
