Yes, his knee is troubling him, is in doubt this week. Also may be yet to fully recover from the concussion he suffered at the last minute against the Doggies.

Mister Maister aint the answer. Play someone who hasn't got butter fingers
In Springfield, they're eating the dogs. The people that came in, they're eating the cats. They’re eating – they are eating the pets of the people that live there.

They need to piss him off to Sandy Roo or no Roo.magnifisaint wrote:He'd need extra suction padsGoSaintersGo wrote:Maister needs to wear a glove the same as Cloke, simple as that.magnifisaint wrote:Mister Maister aint the answer. Play someone who hasn't got butter fingers
I'd honestly prefer Kosi to Maister at the moment...
i am Melbourne Skies - sometimes Blue Skies, Grey Skies, even Partly Cloudy Skies.

Didn't have butter fingers before he broke his hand. If the hand is still a worry, don't play him until it's settled!magnifisaint wrote:Mister Maister aint the answer. Play someone who hasn't got butter fingers

Re: Roo in doubt for this weekend
Apart from Maister dropping a gimme mark, I don't think he was all that bad, as the delivery to the forwards was woeful.. its a bit hard for a big forward to take grabs when the ball is kicked over your head, or straight to the opposition. He should be OK with those games under his belt after the hand injury.

Kosi isnt even emergency and why are we resting Roo? We arent playing finals. If he isnt fit he shouldnt play. If he tired he should go to bed early the next 2 nights and then play.

Re: Roo in doubt for this weekend
If roo doesn't play this week will we be able to kick more than 5 goals ?
He is our only productive avenue to goal .
Maister is like a trampoline
milney is lucky to touch the ball 10 times a game
Saad is about the same as milney

Re: Roo in doubt for this weekend
Will it be the Kosi we saw in early 2012 making on appearance or perhaps the Kosi that we witnessed on the park late in the season in 2012??
I reckon Maister needs one more game in a row to prove whether he can do the job of a KP forward. He has been played up til now and and deserves another chance. Play both Kos and Maister should play imo if Roo doesn't, and lets see if Maister is the answer for 2014 and beyond. If he cannot do the job as good as or better than the Kos then let's find a kid that might.

Re: Roo in doubt for this weekend
Let's just wait until Sunday. Our Rooey is one tough cookie and he'll do everything he can to lead the boys out for this and every game !!
NEW scarf signature (hopefully with correct spelling) will be here as soon as it arrives !!
Re: Roo in doubt for this weekend
Riewoldt has kicked 23 goals in his last 5 games against the kangas. So usually goes alright.

We will really be lost without roo this week, if he doesn't play...
