Why are they waiting so long to sack Neeld?joffaboy wrote:From what I hear Neeld has one more game against Hawthorn and then he is sacked.
So next week it will be Melbourne again.
Then after that drugs
Then after that the bye
Maybe in July the media will get around to calling for Watters head.

Re: Why have we escaped media scrutiny?
It has already been said that it's because it will be the lead up to the SAINTS game. Another reason could be that it will have ticked over into the 2nd half of the season, meaning his payout would be considerably less !!saintspremiers wrote:Why are they waiting so long to sack Neeld?joffaboy wrote:From what I hear Neeld has one more game against Hawthorn and then he is sacked.

Because we have over fifty percent of our list recruited recently , media knows the system , 10 years up , then the system pulls you back.Really happy we are playing kids .We will get further opportunity to improve list because that is the system.

Re: Why have we escaped media scrutiny?
The afl have lost control of the whole competition with various rules for different clubs, no 2 clubs have the same rules so it is not a level playing field. Eddie complains that Sydney have extra salary cap but his team, ie the pies gets blockbusters which means money so they get more recruiting staff etc.
It is be becoming a s*** competition compared to what it was 10 years Ago

Re: Why have we escaped media scrutiny?
Until today we have been competitive against the good teams but not good enough to win and put in really bad effort against teams we should be better than so we just cant bloody beat anyone. I hope the media start to put a bit of pressure on the club and Watters.
Re: Why have we escaped media scrutiny?
While Melbourne keep getting beaten by 100 points or thereabouts, they'll be under more scrutiny..the Neeld speculation will get even worse after todays result...When (if) Neeld goes then the scrutiny might head towards the Saintsbattye wrote:I think we can safely say that this will be the week.
