Sandy v Bendigo Gold
The TrueZebras twitter feed says Tom Lee is having a 'very good game' - best tall forward on ground apparently. (I hope I'm wrong on this kid - desperately hope he comes good.) And Cockie is BOG at this stage.
Scores are Sandy 14.7.91 to Bendigo 6.6.42. I think it's mid-way through the third quarter.

Re: Sandy v Bendigo Bombers
I keep backing Tom Lee in because of his WAFL form. He's a very good player when on song. I think he will have a few eating their words when he breaks through.

Re: Sandy v Bendigo Bombers
Bendigo haven't won a game , so we should expect our listed players to be a class above .
I hope we finish with a 7 - 10 goal last quarter !

Re: Sandy v Bendigo Bombers
Doesn't look like he's back yet Spencer. Trent Dennis lane seemed to be scoring heaps as did Shenton early. The usual Sandy mids looked like the did well too.

Looks like TDL didn't get that many just clustered them but good to see some young saints in the best.
Best:
Sandringham: Murdoch Curren Dennis-Lane Saunders Michaliades Ferguson

Re: Sandy v Bendigo Bombers
Thread heading is incorrect-- No Longer the Bombers
Bendigo Gold and CoachAussie Jones was working from the Boundary line..
virtually a complelelty differant team to the one Sandy would have played in the past..since the dissolving of the alingment.
Good win Zebras although Gold put up more of a fight than the scores indicate.

Re: Sandy v Bendigo Gold
Bull Murdoch is going to be good
Im also sticking firm with Lee - i reckon he will be be a gun.
TDL needs to pull his finger out and get serious in the gym if he wants to stay an AFL player.

I think you are right on Lee, it may take some time in our system but I am confident he will make it.Con Gorozidis wrote:Bull Murdoch is going to be good

Bit it you knobs.
Which point are you discussing?
You dont rate Murdoch or Lee or you reckon TDL is AFL standard?
As usual plugger plays the man and ignores the subject matter - purely because he likes the thread to be about him because he is lonely - and you guys encourage him.

Simon McPhee is on St.Kildas payroll. Have we in the past had this arrangement with any other Sandy or Casey coaches ?
Great move, and reinforces that Sandy is our bitch.

Did he say he saw it did he. He offered an opinion not just lowered him self to picking off others opinions. It might have some relevance if you didn't post constantly your self so it's obviously not that you don't like small talk on the forum.
I think TDL might still have something to offer doesn't mean I need to see the game. Just an opinion. The rest of what he said sounds reasonable.

I know someone who knows someone and he said 85 players would be good for us.
Re: Sandy v Bendigo Gold
A bit like an umpire, despite a game going on, always just becomes about them and thats all we seem to talk about... anyway, back to the subject matter...Con Gorozidis wrote:As usual plugger plays the man and ignores the subject matter - purely because he likes the thread to be about him because he is lonely - and you guys encourage him.
Poor Tom Curren, seems to always be in the bests, might even go back to back B & Fs, but cant get a look in despite a spot there for him on the list.
Great to see Saunders, Lee and Murdoch there! Jury still out on TDL, remember Raph was also a class above VFL level. Loving the kids coming through I reckon out of the dozen we have in Newnes, Sippo, Ross, Dunnell, Webster, Saunders, Murdoch, Markworth, Milera, Saad, Lee, Curren, Wright, White and even Ferguson & Stanley, we may well get 4 or 5 A-Graders!
