No Sandy trains again!!
The Sandy line has the highest concentration of StKilda supporters.
Yet.
NO Sandy trains leaving from Spencer St tonight.
NOT EVEN ONE!
Had to catch other trains to Flinders or Richmond.
THEN
NO extra trains scheduled.
What sort of BRAINLESS SCUM run the MET?

The rest of Australia can wander mask-free, socialise, eat out, no curfews, no zoning, no police rings of steel, no illogical inconsistent rules.

You mean Metro Trains?Enrico_Misso wrote:What sort of BRAINLESS SCUM run the MET?
They are mainly foreign owned. I think most of it is owned by a Hong Kong based corporation. IMO, our public transport system should never have been privatised.
But it may not be a bad idea to write to our Minister for Public Transport, The Hon. Terry Mulder, MP. His email address is terence.mulder@parliament.vic.gov.au
Curb your enthusiasm - you’re a St.Kilda supporter!!

The same that run citylink
2 out of 3 tunnel lanes closed so that 2 "workers" can wander aimlessly around doing "maintenance" work

What's the Point of it All?
Re: No Sandy trains again!!
Clearly you don't take the Frankston train very often, OP. The Sandy is less than half full by the time it gets to Elsternwick anyways.

Re: No Sandy trains again!!
As I discovered yesterday afternoon, trying to get back from Melbourne Central to Southern Cross means no trains travel in that direction, which means you have a catch a tram up either Bourke street or Latrobe Street. How dumb is that and what tourist would be able to work out the convoluted system if a world weary Metro commuter got caught by it.
If you want to complain go to www.metrotrains.com.au just don't expect a logical answer.

Re: No Sandy trains again!!
Enrico consider the weight of "major" versus "major" delays when comparing Sandy to Frankston trains as of 15 mins ago
Frankston-
Major Delays
16 minutes agoDelays of over 40 minutes in both directions between Caulfield and Mordialloc du... more
Delays of over 40 minutes in both directions between Caulfield and Mordialloc due to a signal fault. Some trains may depart from different platforms between Caulfield and Moorabbin so please listen for announcements or speak to Metro staff. Consider using alternative transport if possible..
Sandringham-
Some customers travelling citybound may experience a delay of up to 17 minutes due to the cancellation of the 6:37pm train to Flinders Street.
I could deal with the Sandringham "major delay" compared to the "Frankston" major delay.
Not a day goes by morning or afternoon when signal failure occurs.

And that is why the state govt is spending $100 million on the Frankston line that has been criminally neglected for years.ozrulestrace wrote:Enrico consider the weight of "major" versus "major" delays when comparing Sandy to Frankston trains as of 15 mins ago

Yep wasting it on a stupid Ormond underground station when Bentleigh, Murrumbeena and Hughesdale are much worse. the difference is 3 lanes compared to one or 3 voters compared to one.

Re: No Sandy trains again!!
Trains to Frankston and Sandringham leave Flinders only. Need to make way to Flinders for a train, but yes both St Kilda lines are useless if you're at Etihad. Takes a good half hour each way longer than if the games were at the MCG
