Re: Hickey
Thought he was terrific and offers far more than Kosi.. Must be played as much as possible..
Re: Hickey
Does more for the structure than Kosi.
Thought he was pretty good tonight. Takes the pressure of Mac who played a blinder tonight.
Allows Mac to play behind the ball.
Also liked his skills for a big man.
Will be OK. Remember he is still very young and raw. Mac is 24 and only just coming into his own as a ruck man.
Hickey has got a few seasons yet before he is a consistant ruckman.

Lance or James??

The toll this has taken on my family, and my work for <redacted>and on me leads me to where I am today – finished with this nonsense. (Oops just got a spontaneous errection <unredacted>)

Re: Hickey
He looked really good to me. Certainly worth persisting with. I have a soft spot for Kosi, but Hicket and Mac were a good combo tonight.

Re: Hickey
May be alright? He's OK? The kid will be a gun, tonight we saw the emergence of what will be a seriously awesome ruck combination. Hickey reminds me of Spida Everitt with a lot more skill.

Another who has a bad memory. Spider had a huge amount of skill. If Hickey does half as well he will be good.

Re: Hickey
He looked like he was very sore walking off the ground at the end of game and into the rooms. Limping noticeably. Not a doctor (medical) that is.......... it looked to me like his hip.

He had a lot of treatment on it last week for Sandringham Loris. Didn't stop him playing tonight though.loris wrote:He looked like he was very sore walking off the ground at the end of game and into the rooms. Limping noticeably. Re: Hickey
Don't sell Spider short. His left foot was better than any other ruckman I have ever seen. And natural.saintspremiers wrote:Spider was a white version of Natanui but better.plugger66 wrote:Moorabbin Man wrote:May be alright? He's OK? Re: Hickey
I actually loved the Spida and agree he was a highly skilled big fella. I've got a feeling that Hickey is going to be better and is better than Spida was when he was a gangly kid with only a handful of games under his belt. Don't you reckon that's a good thing and great for the future?plugger66 wrote:Moorabbin Man wrote:May be alright? He's OK? Re: Hickey
had the immense pleasure of standing with mr and mrs hickey during the game and boy was it was it absolutely gratifying to watch him really show how much it meant for him to be wearing a Stkilda guernsey and contributing to a well earned victory.
They were absolutely rapt

Re: Hickey
Best thing is he can hold down the ruck and allow Macca to drop back or go forward and create havoc.
