Re: Saints v Blues Match Thread
Can I just say I'm quite proud of the boys. I had a sneaking feeling all week we'd get up, but then I thought that about the Collingwood match.
When they created LENNY HAYES (in the shadow of Harvs) they forgot to break the mold (again)- hence the Supremely Incredible Jack Steven!!

As Scotty said "our young players ran out of legs"
Fair assessment!
How many players under 30 games do we have playing tonight!?

Who is the scum number 9? Kept laughing and saying stuff to Newnsy. Didn't he know his team was losing?
Any team that has players like Robinson, Armfield and Scotland ( all GOPS) and tickerless flogs like Betts will never succeed.

Re: Saints v Blues Match Thread
With that game you see why development is so important. Wright was amazing until he went off took Gears role and allowed the freedom to tag out Drop Kick murphy. Seb was a little nugget, Robertons first half was really solid again. Hickey did enough to suggest he can play despite his limited experience. Newnes was good, Saad and Milera were better. Jack was incredible- remember he'd only played about 10 games when Ross left. Armo was quiet but solid, Stanley looked good and at times shaky overall we have some fantastic kids at the club.

The match report on the afl website is laughable!
DID WE ACTUALLY WIN? The idiot journo raves on about a courageous and injury ravaged Carlton. And in the 5 talking points they all mention Carlscum! Nothing about Jack or Ben. Very amateurish reporting and possibly obvious the writer is a Scum fan

Very poor handball that one.. We were surging forward and a goal then would have broken their run on, and I feel we would've won by 30+ points, running away..Griggsy wrote:Thank god, all went downhill after wright out and dals airy handpass intercepted
Instead it gifted them another goal and made it an arm wrestle..
No matter in the end, but it was a poor decision by Dal..
