Tom Hickey
Get him the Sr side next week and leave him there for at least 4 games to see how he goes.

I love this club
Re: Tom Hickey
If he comes in and plays well, does that mean he should have been in earlier or that they waited just the right amount of time?Stillwaiting wrote:Agree Con, I though he should have been in earliet
He was pretty ineffective up forward in round one.

That's just my opinion, the coaching staff noore than me so if he does come in and play well then it means nothing more than that.
I love this club
Re: Tom Hickey
Provided he isn't injured from today.
I've never seen a bad St.Kilda player - that's just how they are.

Re: Tom Hickey
Not so sure that Tom Hickey is a walk up start for next week. He was getting plenty of work done on his left hip/quad by the physios every time he came off today !!
NEW scarf signature (hopefully with correct spelling) will be here as soon as it arrives !!

Kosi was struggling in the VFL, why did he come in against Sydney?
Kosi clearly struggled against Sydney, why did he play against Collingwood?
I love the bloke & he's given a lot, but the game had past him last year.
Hickey was a huge investment & roll learn a lot quicker playing AFL & who didn't struggle in round 1?

Re: Tom Hickey
Agreed. I was standing near the race to the Zeb's rooms, and in the third quarter when Sandy got rolling and he got some decent delivery he was good. His work below his knees when the ball hit the deck was very impressive for a guy of his size. His follow up efforts in a passage of play the fourth quarter when on the ball were really impressive too.Eastern wrote:Okay without setting the world on fire !!mohannair wrote:How did he go today in the VFL?

IF you look around the room and can't identify who the sucker is, then it's probably you!

It will be interesting to see how Hickey goes once he gets over his pre-season injury.

Re: Tom Hickey
English translation: As has been mentioned countless times, Hickey was not ready. He injured himself. It has been mentioned countless times (as I said before) by the club and coach. Hence, the selection of Kosi. It is a long season, so they need to spread the load.

Thanks Eastern, I heard he was limping towards the end of the game. May not have fully recovered from the Round 1 injury!Eastern wrote:Okay without setting the world on fire !!mohannair wrote:How did he go today in the VFL?
