This argument that attending away games only contributes to the opposition's revenue is pretty dubious.

I appreciate for some people the cost might be an issue, but surely $20 is not that much for a GA ticket.
The main issue is surely to go along and support the team regardless of if it is a home or away game.
(Not including interstate/OS games as that clearly is a major cost issue).

The "I only go to home games" mentality really disappoints me.
The only thing worse is the "I'm not going because I think we'll lose" mentality.

In fact the away games and the "expected to lose" games are the games when fans should actually to lend support, and the "against the odds" wins are always the best wins.

Since living in Melbourne I have watched them at Moorabbin, Waverley, and Docklands. I have been to training numerous, I have travelled to what the feeder teams (Frankston and Sandy).

At least everyone try and come and make it a fortress against Carlton this Monday as any Stkilda supporter should hate Carlton more than any other opposition.
