Outs from tonight
Kosi, Gilbert, Saad
The first two will be forced. Saad is Shyte at the moment and if Watters doesn't drop him he's got issues.

Re: Outs from tonight
My guess:
Out: Kosi (susp), Gilbert (inj), Saad, Murdoch
In: Hickey, Gwilt, Milera, Webster
Saunders to sub. Stanley FF. White could be an outside chance if he plays well for Sandy.
I'd argue that yet another BOG from Jones' opponent would continue to prove his spot is wasted but he obviously makes Watters love him somehow. Pendlebury 28 disposals, 22 effective, 8 marks, 2 goals, 1 goal assist, 7 clearances. Jones 16 disposals, 7 effective, 4 marks, 0 goals, 0 goal assists, 0 clearances.
Also please, please no TDL

Re: Outs from tonight
Just stating facts based on performances and giving the newbies some slack. Saad played most of last year and looked way better than he does now. Maybe second year blues?kimberly saint wrote:All our supporters that turn on our players in wat looks like its going to be tuff year. He wasn't named for Sandringham. "Player management", apparently, whatever that means. Perhaps being rested up for a crack at Carlton.mad saint guy wrote:White could be an outside chance if he plays well for Sandy.
Re: Outs from tonight
Hayes two weeks I read somewhere..
Kosi suspended, Gilbert injured, Saad a rest, I think there may be a few more injuries out of that one.

Re: Outs from tonight
Saad is not the issue. Last quarter him was opposed to someone who was twice the size he was.Maybe we should be looking to those who deliver the ball to the forwards!!!!!!

The ins are good but Jones has been good. Not really a run with any more just loose.

Re: Outs from tonight
Outs:
JONES surely we can find a player who can do more with the ball than he does!
KOSI stupid obviously frustrated but not the way to go out.
SAAD too one dimensional and appears to have lost his edge in pace.
Ins:
Curren upgraded to senior list to take Jones tagging roles.
Ledger to play in Saad's role with runs ont he ball.
If Lee or Maister and fit then Hickey.

Re: Outs from tonight
Not sure if any of you have worked it out yet. Saad is not AFL standard. Love him to be but he's not.

Re: Outs from tonight
Hmm, wouldn't think that he'd need any more rest between games considering the Carlton game is on a Monday. It sounds like he might be going through the same program as Markworth where he is intermittently given a couple of weeks to focus on building strength and managing any niggles. Still, with Kosi gone and Wilkes injured we're left with pretty thin stocks up forward.bigcarl wrote:He wasn't named for Sandringham. "Player management", apparently, whatever that means. With that said, we'll probably see a forward line of
HF: Milera, Riewoldt, Siposs
F: Milne, Stanley, Hickey/McEvoy

Give him break. He's a small forward in a struggling team.8856brother wrote:Not sure if any of you have worked it out yet. Saad is not AFL standard. Love him to be but he's not.
I'd rest him for a couple of weeks but then again, will that improve his game?

Re: Outs from tonight
Sorry Pav. My opinion is he is not good enough. A couple of Weeks in the twos won't change that. We need to be playing Terry who is good enough.SaintPav wrote:Give him break.
