Re: Saad
Gee Saad is so lucky every week. This week Gilbo injured himself so saad didn't have to go off. It's about time Saad was dropped as he just doesn't DO anything.
As ex-president Peter Summers said:
“If we are going to be a contender, we may as well plan to win the bloody thing.”

Hopelessly out of form. Needs to go back to Sandy for at least a couple of weeks. He should take Dal Santo with him.

Re: Saad
Exactly. So why make a comment that it is just inexperience. Skills are apparent from day 1. What a player does with them takes time. But if you haven't got from day 1 then it's game over. Forty years ago it might have been different, but it's not.SainterK wrote:How would I know?perfectionist wrote:He's not going to get any quicker or taller. Is it because Jack Steven had a good game?
You need to back off on guys early into their journey, IMO.

Re: Saad
Yeah he should have been dropped this week apart from Milera not coming up I think he would have. Is too one dimensional we would be better off playing Ledger, Dunnel or Minchington in that position - guys with some flexibility to go through the middle etc.
SAINTS another day older another day closer to the Holy Grail!

Re: Saad
Anyone remeber Raph Clarke's second season
long injury lay off, brought straight back in lacking match fitness
for 6-7 weeks was run rings around by his opponenets... earned the wrath of nearly every saints fan ever
that stayed with him throughout his career
you don't do a player any favors by opening them up to ridicule
