Still trying to get match fit. Was always only going to play one of the Essendon or Sydney games given the short break.saintsRrising wrote:Mentally he was just not there against the Dons .Sobraz wrote:Simpkin is a real strange one at the moment..

Up on the wing was not concentrating and so when the ball was kicked to him and Hille...as he was virtually asleep Hille was able to run and gather the ball that Simpkin easily should have.
A couple of other times was simar gifting easy ball to the Dons.
Is currently just a shadow of the player he was last year. Is unrecognisable at present and is in a major form slump.

His 1 kick and 2 free against were sensational last time.
Surely Jesse White is ahead of Tommy?

Re: Extended squad in NZL v Swans
Imagine if we see all of Wright, Roberton, Ross, Saunders, TDL, Murdoch, Lee, Hickey…
That's a hell of a lot of new blood. 8
"play the kids" hey?

Re: Extended squad in NZL v Swans
Scott Watters has today said Kosi will be an emergency and will only play if there's a late change.
Murdoch still a good chance to play.

So in light of that, and despite the faintly ridiculous line-up in the paper, could this be the team....?Beno88 wrote:Scott Watters has today said Kosi will be an emergency and will only play if there's a late change.

Re: Extended squad in NZL v Swans
A quick thought - Normally Id like to see Murdoch or Saunders debut and replace TDL.
But should we play TDL for the old 'something to prove against your old team' factor.
Players often have a good game against their old club.....
Maybe Saunders could replace Nate Wright for this week?

You do realise that S Watters was assistant coach of a premiership winning team?
Scotty is learning . Compared to whom? You?
