From what I have read and seen White may be a bit green. Younger shorter guys can fill out pretty quick, but talls take longer. Look at Stanley. I don't mind playing Kosi so much here with so much young blood around him.

Hickey played on Sunday. Kosi didn't, so Kosi will play in NZ. Lee looks a certainty.
With the final 8 looking highly unlikely, we can get Kosi to 200 during the year, without jeapardising the Club. The NZ game looks to be a suitable opportunity - he alone will not cost us the game. Hickey will get more opportunities during the year.

Maister has been the guy keeping Kosi out. Now he's unavailable, Kosi gets a month of senior footy to deservedly get to 200 games, and to prove he has a little bit left in the tank.

Lee is a different kind of player, probably more mobile at this stage of his career - more suited to the third tall type. His inclusion will come down to team balance. The weather might have something to do with this.

If anyone watches any league or union from NZ on a cool night, you'll know the dew comes in thick and fast, this might prove to be a factor in our selection if we've done our homework....

Well at least two are out, and probably more - Watters said something about the two gamess being treate as one "campaign" because of the short turnaround.

Plus we will be naming and extended squad today, so:

Out; Maister, Milne

In: Kosi, Lee, Siposs, Hickey, Murdoch.

I gather he was better again this week against Port. The way i see it is bigmart has seen one proper VFL game at the most of White. You have seen one and i have seen one. We are all in the same boat it seems. Then again BM may not have seen any.

Yea this, except I'd have Milera in instead of TDL.

Roo and Kosi two talls
Dunell, Siposs, Lee as the mids
Saad and Milera as two smalls.

Hopefully the balance is better compared to two talls and 4 smalls. We just need more forward targets who can take marks and also run/move quick enough.

cant see why the club didnt just fly the whole squad over ... it would be a great bonding experiance for the boys to be there for the ANZAC game plus they could then send the boys not playing out into the community in NZ to ramp up some support (is it school holidays in Wellington ? ) maybe run a footy clinic for the kids

have no idea of why they would fly jimmy gwilt over if he is not a chance to play. Seemed to be moving quite well to me.

Well he isnt playing as he isnt in the squad. he is probably doing media over there as he cant play for sandy.
