Changes for next week?
Ins - Siposs, Lee, someone new
Out - Milera, TDL never to be seen again, similar to CJ.
When will people realise that it is easy to get the ball when nobody gives a crap about you and know you are an awful disposer?

Re: Changes for next week?
Watters & Laidley out in Harvey & Hughton
SAINTS another day older another day closer to the Holy Grail!
Re: Changes for next week?
Seb stays, liked what I saw.
Lee should of stayed in unless injured, why drop him after one game?
In Dempster (hopefully) Dunnel
Out TDL Milera
Tell Dunnel he is in to apply forward pressure, tackle harrass, and the goals will come.

Re: Changes for next week?
SK, 5 days between games might have had something to do with it. Although, if that is the case, I'm not sure why they were named in the first place. SW did mention picking form 25 players for this week and next week.
Opinions are like arseholes, everybody's got one.

Re: Changes for next week?
I'd make rather thorough changes.
Out: Milera, TDL, Jones, Ray
In: Siposs, Dunell, Ledger, Hickey
B: Simpkin, Stanley, Geary
HB: Wright, Fisher, Roberton
C: Dal Santo, Hayes, Montagna
HF: Siposs, Riewoldt, Dunell
F: Milne, Maister, Saad
Foll: McEvoy, Armitage, Steven
Int: Gilbert, Hickey, Ross, Ledger (sub)
I don't care how many times Jones ran onto the ball and hacked it up in the air or handballed to someone under pressure - he never wins his position. Ray has been ordinary, TDL is too weak and doesn't get enough of the ball and Milera is an excellent state league player. This is the kind of age demographic our side should have for the rest of the year. Milne and Maister need to lift or they could be out soon as well.

Re: Changes for next week?
Can we wait to see who plays well tomorrow?
Lets reward good form and effort and punish sh*t form and sh*t effort
Thats my selection policy. Simple Carrot and stick. Create a healthy culture where everyone knows where they stand and everyone knows what is expected. No surprises .

Re: Changes for next week?
We looked too tall and need more small forwards.
In:
Minchington & Curren (both upgraded)
Out:
McEvoy & Stanley
Unbeatable.

Well let's just dig ourselves a deeper hole. If we did need a new coach, are you suggesting we ignore Roos and perhaps Clarkson and go for Harvey!WinnersOnly wrote:Watters & Laidley out in Harvey & Hughton

Re: Changes for next week?
Kosi needs to go to N.Z. It will be a mistake to pick players who play a full game tomorrow for N.Z., as they will only have a four day break.

4 smalls are 2 too many. And we had very little skill, pace or strength on the outside. Really need to give others a chance. Milera lost me tonight and Milne looks past it. Saad and TDL weren't any better, but they have improvement in them.

Re: Changes for next week?
Out ; Milera, Dennis-Lane, Ray
In: Lee, Hickey, and some youngster with leg speed and courage who's up for the challenge
Poor McEvoy has far too much to do and needs a genuine ruckman to help out. We need three tall forwards for the forward line to function properly. If Watters selects TDL, Saad, Milne, and Milera in the same team again, I won't bother going. It failed in round one and failed again today. A total waste having four small forwards who can't play midfield. Milera and TDL are small and timid. That's the awful truth.

Re: Changes for next week?
TDL - Why the ferk did we recruit this guy? honestly, what a dumb-"ss waste of a pick.....
Kosi aint the answer.
Rather see Lee get game time FFS - we are sliding the oldies cant help us now its the future so play them.
Id like to see:
In: Dempster, Lee, Hickey
Out; TDL, Ray, Milera
Milne on real thin ice - been deplorable and cant carry small fwd who cant go into guts who does nothing.

Re: Changes for next week?
Is anyone likely to miss due to the half time melee? Looked like wright may have landed one, didn't touch the ball though so may have not made real contact?
Maybe this year?

Surely Lee is injured?Teflon wrote:TDL - Why the ferk did we recruit this guy? honestly, what a dumb-"ss waste of a pick.....

They wouldn't of dropped in one game in for TDL?

Not sure but the replacement makes me think they deliberately went small - its hardly like for like is it?SainterK wrote:Surely Lee is injured?Teflon wrote:TDL - Why the ferk did we recruit this guy? honestly, what a dumb-"ss waste of a pick.....

Watters said Siposs will be considered this week..........TDL isnt up to it FFS how long we gonna waste before realising that?
Scary but I think Wilkes is also our best forward .....Roo looked old to me tonght and Milne's gone to the fat side.
“Yeah….nah””
Re: Changes for next week?
TDL playing against Essendon reminded me of Tom Lynch and Ryan Gamble playing against Essendon, sorry, but just calling it as I see it.
I'm not completely writing him off, he certainly needs to play instead of, not as well as one of the other smalls if he gets another run....I don't hold that against him.
I'd bring back Kosi, sick of watching crumbers attempt to be leading outbodying kind of forwards, it's not good at all. People bag him, but if you want to develop guys like Milera, Saad, Dunell....they need crumbing opportunities, not leading opportunities against taller opponents.
