I played footy for 20+ years and loved the two clubs I played at, wouldn't have walked to the opposition for more money. And if I did for some unfathomable reason I wouldn't sook next time I played my old club and beat them, him leaving was entirely driven by him and his management so good riddance. That was a cry for sympathy because he made a judas decision, nothing more...

Oops, perhaps I should have made it clearer. I was referring to those people who make a living from the game.
