Showing faith in McEvoy
Siposs wasn't that injured
Simpkin didn't fall in a big hole

Re: Rnd 4 team v Essendon
Love the changes. Ben will have to ruck most of the game with Stanley rucking occasionally down back and Maister up forward.

Re: Rnd 4 team v Essendon
Happy with that.
Unless we get a million new injuries I don't think Blakey and Kosi should play again.
They both deserve a farewell game at years end. Round 22 v the Suns at Etihad.

Couldn't be happier with that team. Still not confident enough to tip us but I think we'll show a bit more than we have.
Looking forward to seeing how we go.

2 genuine rucks could hurt us, do we have hickey as an emergency?SainterK wrote:Adam McNicol: ESSENDON

Milne and Hayes will prob hang up the boots at years end too. If so I'll do my best to be at the dome round 23 v freo.

Re: Rnd 4 team v Essendon
I'm glad to see us with more run than height (Hickey) against the Bombers.
Simpkin for Blake was the right move.

Re: Rnd 4 team v Essendon
I'll claim winner this week for the first time ever I think with ins and outs.
Thought there was a chance we could have gone Hickey for extra height forward, but now reckon Siposs will be used forward/wing.

Hille didn't play much last week, or pulled out injured....something along those lines.Old Mate wrote:Hill & Bellchambers vs McEvoy. I smell a late change....Hickey in.
They may be playing tricks, getting us to go tall.

Nup, no late changes unless late injuries.Old Mate wrote:Hill & Bellchambers vs McEvoy. I smell a late change....Hickey in.
Reason: we need maximum pace, Hickey in would slow us down.
With Simpkin back, it releases Stanley to ruck, with Macca occasionally floating back due to Blake's omission.

So good to see Simpkin back in the side. Let's hope he continues on from his form in 2012.
Hope Sippo gets his hands dirty too.

They are good ins but I would like to see Hickey on as we'll, I think their 2 rucks might make it tough for McEvoy to ruck most of the gamesaintspremiers wrote:Nup, no late changes unless late injuries.Old Mate wrote:Hill & Bellchambers vs McEvoy. I smell a late change....Hickey in.

Re: Rnd 4 team v Essendon
Good to see Simpkin in for the Saints, maybe the best option for FB
Also Ess have Gumbleton emergency in case Hurley doesn't come up.....although Hille can play forward as well

Re: Rnd 4 team v Essendon
Half that team has changed since Lyon's last game in charge, one season and three games later.
Gehrig emerged from scans yesterday saying he was "as sweet as a bun"
