Surely we can win this.

Then again, wins away from Etihad have become pretty rare ... and GWS are improving.

I wouldn't expect any favours from the umpires, given the AFL's priorities towards the developing teams.

Thanks Saintbrat got all excited till I checked my roster - start work at 1pm on Friday! Indicative of Saints luck so far this season?

Is that a migraine I feel coming? But I will be 100% on Saturday.

Might cop some stick wearing my Saints gear in the GWS members seating but trust I will get the last laugh (I'm a long time Saints member but also joined GWS to support them given they have bought AFL to Canberra).

Weather forecast is 25 and fine, Manuka Oval is in great condition and new lights are fantastic.

4 more sleeps! Then down to Etihad for the Essendon game to have a few words to BJ.

Hey where is everyone sitting at the game...as it would be good to sit with other saints supporters?

Do you just buy at the gate or prebook...what is the best?

Thanks

Bit disappointed - second interstate trip this year and again no pre or post game activity. Doesn't Lenny come from Canberra? These events used to be a fantastic chance to meet local Saints supporters as well as hear from coaching staff, retired players living in the area (I meet Joffa in Qld a couple of years ago and have previously meet George Young and Nicky Winmar in Perth). The club needs to get behind our interstate supporters groups so they can make the visit of the Saints a big occasion - I am sure the Western Saints will be doing just that in July.

I thought Lenny played for Pennant Hills, he may hail from Wagga Wagga ? Could be wrong.

Fantastic training session at Manuka yesterday, the players were great. They signed guernseys and posed for photo's. Lenny seemed a tad angry, hopefully he's building for tonight

I'd like to see something that is better than just "effort". Effort is just energy...good conditions you'd expect skills to be on show and hopefully smarter footy than what we've seen so far.

I've never seen a bad St.Kilda player - that's just how they are.

the ground's in perfect nick....same size as the mcg....only problem is the centre which still has a cricket pitch and would be as hard as nails.......some of the oldies might just recognize the scoreboard.....

all the saints fans should be together in the red seats on the outer wing......i will wave to you all......and plugga in particular....

Lenny is from Nth West Sydney. McVeigh territory.

A fair old drive from both Wagga Wagga and Canberra. Especially when he last lived there he was a 17yo and probably didnt drive.

James Hird on the other hand is from Canberra. He could do a pre match 'pep-talk' :D
