Why are people calling for Newnes to get dropped. Yes a couple of mistakes, but he can find the ball and some of his kicking was great.

He has played what 10 games? If we really are rebuilding then I would rather see the young guys taking some risks and having a go , rather than just playing safe for their position
Same goes for Sipposs, terrible last week, but going back to Sandy won't achive much for him

We have had 4 and 3 players who can play as small forwards last two week,s I think we need some more run through the midfield, and Saad/Milera do not provide that to the same extent as Schneider does. More rotations through the midfield to keep them fresh!

I can't see much to be gained by Milne kicking 5 against gws this week, would much rather get a look at Lee.

Too many small forwards & I choose the 23 yo over the 33 yo.

It will be interesting to see whether Hickey is picked if fit. I hope he is otherwise don't see the point in using a high draft pick on him purely as insurance in case Ben is unavailable.

I can cop the argument that he may not be ready yet, I guess, but down the track surely we will be looking at two specialist ruckmen.

And don't tell me he is going to displace McEvoy, who, IMO will go close to best and fairest this season and must be short odds of being next captain.

Surely if you use pick 13 on a developing 22-year-old it is with a long-term view to him playing every week.

Lee won't be far away either. Some goals in the VFL and a few sub par performances from Maister, or even Milne or one of the other smaller forwards, and it is a done deal

I'd love to see Milney kick five against GWS.

He's a confidence player, and it may just kick a slow start to the season off.
