Re: Dylan Roberton
I said after that Sydney game he would be good and also said he was my pick of all the players over the NAB series- he will leave his man but always covers his arse. he will be a gun. My Freo mates talked him up so have kept a close eye on him. He is slow but never outrun, looks casual but never behind the play- mister composure looks a 200 game player already.

He looked pretty good and did a nice gather and moved the ball forward when he was covered by two tigers towards the end of the game.
Re: Dylan Roberton
Newnes was really costly, but the only way hell get better is to play.
Must be remembered who Dylan played on..

Re: Dylan Roberton
He was exhausted by the end but his effort was commendable.
Clueless and mediocre petty tyrant.
Re: Dylan Roberton
Was OK, like the way he competes, but McGuane who is pretty average could've easily kicked a bag on him

Re: Dylan Roberton
Two of the positives tonight. Jack Newnes and Dylan Roberton. Jack is still a bit "reluctant" to put body between opponent and ball. He must have been watching NDS. Hopefully, as he gets older and fatter (err stronger), that will improve.

Yeah, Dals soft
200 game midfielder who cops a hard tag weekly is soft
Who is our leading tackler so far?

Can kick well both sides too. Impressed tonight.

Re: Dylan Roberton
Roberton was good, but got to say Newnes was very ordinary...know he's young but he's got to put the body on the line, shanked several kicks and then got over cautious and held up play to take safe options....thought he was our worst tonight
Nee!
Re: Dylan Roberton
Roberton was really good tonight I though.
Newnes was great, esp in the first quarter. Reminds me of Dal in a way, will be a great player, seems smart with his kicking as well.

Re: Dylan Roberton
Newnes was hot and cold, but alot to like..
He got it very well, used it very poorly..
But he will improve and these games now are invaluable..
Will be a very good player, and I expect him to really step up in the second half of the year...
