Milera was by far the best of out 4 small forwards. Sure he jibbed it against some big blokes during the game, but TDL wouldnt even get into the position to jib it. Milera would be the first of them I would play next week
HE WAS SOFT...not saying he can't turn it around BUT it's not muscles that will change his style...it's attitude and confidence and a few games at Sandy to show him how close he is to a ticket back to the SANFL

Seems to me we got killed in the midfield and around the packs, so Milera's 3 sausages was a good effort, and had he not have kicked them, we could have lost by 31 points. I still reckon Dunnell is worth slotting in the forward line as he takes a good grab for his size and has good goal sense.
Milera wasn't even planted as a forward he ran all over the ground three goals for a guy that played back middle and forward is a supreme effort. Some players get instructed to hang out the back and not go to ground. Only the coaches know if he did what he was told but he was good IMO
Outside of his three goals (which came from assists)
Which other parts to his game were good?!
He cost two, so that makes him +1
+ his one assist.
Makes him +2
At least he got somewhere near the pill in order to make a couple of mistakes. Maybe he should have kept a constant distance away from it, like Saad did, to keep the bashers at bay.

Lenny also let someone past while stationary, don't hear any criticism of him. Terry was the most dangerous forward on the ground and 2nd behind Ablett as most likely goal kicker.
Lenny was sidestepped and an opponents waltzed around him.... Not sure Len would avoid a tackle if one could be made?!
Terry gOt out of Charlie Dixon's way
I really rate Terry.... And he is actually a good tackler, chose not to a few times because he s*** himself... Last year he would never have done so, trying to impress to get a game.... I think he feels secure this year, that is a bad thing.
Saad played deeper, it is a lot hard to get a kick the deeper you play... You run out of ground and you opponent wears you tighter that close to goal... Cannot compare ball winning of a FP to that of a HF.... You'd expect a HF to get more of it...
Although Saad was absolutely s***.

Saad is fat and warning signs for me were in the NAB Cup where he was nowhere to be seen and when he found the ball he looked slow and fat/too big
Terry is the definition of outside forward flanker. He craps himself on occasion however is a slippery gypsy most of the time so I can handle the stuff ups

Where did you hear this?
i have heard whispers he wants this too
it wasn't a whisper....it was pretty widely known at the time...certainy no secret...his brother in law would be agitating for him to come home to sa .......
.everybody still loves lenny....and we always will
